Gloves Off…?
With England building up to their first 2010 World Cup qualifying match, VC Bet have opened a market on which England goalkeeper will start in the majority of the ten qualifying matches.
“The issue of who should represent England between the sticks is almost certain to be on the agenda during the campaign, and although David James is a clear favourite at the moment things could well change. This is an ongoing debate.” said VC spokesman Neal Wilkins.
The firm go 2/5 about James starting in the majority of the ten games, with Paul Robinson in at 5/2, but then there is a big leap in price to Scott Carson at 10/1 and Robert Green at 14/1.
“Although it appears to be between James and Robinson, Capello is his own man and he might be grooming someone younger. Only time will tell.” added Wilkins.
